Basic principles and rules of conduct
Corporate governance is for Trans Italia the set of institutions, rules and practices governing the operation of the enterprise. Such a system is encoded in the Organization and Control Model according to the Legislative Decree 231/2001 and in the Supervisory Body which determines the correct application in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The Code of Ethics – in addition to being a non-financial reporting tool typical of Corporate Social Responsibility – is an integral part of the Model 231. It aims to define general principles and rules of conduct to which the Company recognizes a positive ethical value and which all Recipients of the Code must comply with. It guides the various individuals on the lines of conduct to follow or to avoid, identifying responsibilities and possible consequences in terms of sanctions.
Rights and duties, responsibilities and commitment for healthy and sustainable management
Legality and transparency guide every aspect of our business.
We are inspired by the Code of Ethics principles. They reflect the Company philosophy with essential key points based on a sustainable action strategy:
- emission reduction and fight against environmental pollution;
- safety protection, human rights guarantee, training support;
- sustainable investing, market and good management practices protection.
Starting from the above principles, we have formalized the responsibilities of all those working in the name and on behalf of the Company to counteract any kind of offenses. Considering both the specificity of our business and the tasks of each function, we have identified the environmental crimes linked to special or hazardous waste transport.
In our Model 231 we have detailed all offences for which the required conduct of Recipients is regulated as well as the sanction system: from crimes against the Public Administration, to corporate and tax crimes, to accident prevention and occupational health protection violation.

Sustainability Report 2021
The future of sustainabilityis already our present
Trans Italia is happy to announce the publication of its first
Sustainability Report, a document detailing its choices,
projects and the actions undertaken within the scope
of its Social Responsibility.
Sustainable and inclusive development goal
The document was drawn up in compliance with the main international benchmark for the Sustainability Reporting (GRI Standard). It was created to make the Company’s Performance Indicator easier and more comprehensible for the 3 sustainability areas: social, environmental and economical.
By publishing the Sustainability Report on a voluntary basis, Trans Italia aims at sharing its own choices with its stakeholders. They are choices referring to last years, directed at the construction of a new inclusive and sustainable development model, by committing to pursuing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as defined in the UN Agenda 2030.
The document is a major step towards the construction of dynamics of transparency aiming at creating value and highlighting all the activities undertaken by the Company in these years in different fields – from sustainable mobility to governance, from focusing on people to social entrepreneurship.

Values, activities, motivations, projects
We want to share the company’s values and activities, motivations and projects, by making the actions carried out, the resources employed and the results achieved transparent and comprehensible to the outside world.
Our Social Report also represents an opportunity to communicate the commitments we have made for the future. At the same time, it is a tool enabling the involvement of all our stakeholders, from employees to customers, suppliers and partners, in order to concretely move in the sustainability perspective.
Our work was a fundamental moment of cultural comparison on the sustainability and social responsibility values and principles, allowing us to strengthen Trans Italia’s commitment on these topics.
